PART 1: Your 1-1.5 hour Personal Consultation and Fitness Level Assessment allows a custom program to be designed just for you to take advantage of your strengths and focus on your weaknesses.
PART 2: During this second 1.5 hour session you will be guided step-by-step through your entire program by a Certified Personal Trainer. Each exercise will be explained to you and proper technique will be demonstrated. You will be shown how to use all of your equipment in a safe, effective manner and have plenty of time to ask questions. Remember: there are no stupid questions--we want you to feel comfortable with every aspect of your program. Your Program Log will be introduced. It lists all of your exercises, details of weight, repetitions or sets for each exercise allows you to track your progress in detail.
PART 3: This 1 hour personal training session is a full body workout incorporating your fitness program. Your physical and mental toughness will be challenged as you progress through the exercises but you will be motivated and guided every step of the way by your trainer so you feel ready and able to proceed on your path to health and wellness.
Join a gym , workout at home or in our equipped studio as is most convenient for you. Schedule additional sessions to kickstart your program safely and effectively.
Continuing Fitness and Return to Fitness
If you already train at a gym or exercise at home you may wonder if you need a personal trainer at all. What a personal trainer can do for you is maximize every workout so make the most of every minute you spend exercising. We can also show you proper stretching techniques and new exercises that will challenge you and drive you to the next level. Don't get stuck in a routine that isolates only certain parts of your body or is not as challenging as you can accomplish. Maximize your time, maximize your routine and maximize your results.
Personal Consultation and Partial Fitness Assessment for Continuing Fitness clients includes Personal Measurements, Resting Heart Rate and Blood Pressure and a Fitness History. You recieve a custom program developed just for you so you can take it up a notch and really challenge your mind and body. Nutrition and Lifestyle Consultation is included and short and long-term goals will be set so you can monitor your progress. Training can be as often as you require and re-assessments are avaiable as needed.
Sports Specific Training
Different sports require different skill sets and muscles. Golfing requires very different conditioning from basketball or from skiing or snowboarding. May people undertake these physical challenges without considering the possibility of injury from poor conditioning, insufficient stretching or joint weakness. Body Works can design a sport-specific program for you to help you improve performance and safety on the court, the course or the slopes. Running and strength training programs are also available for those training for a Marathon or Triathalon or seasoned runners who want to prevent injury.
